Rose Isabelle Hughan was the last of five daughters born to Allan and Phoebe Hughan. She was born in Noumea on November 3, 1873, when her mother was 44 years old and her father 36.
Rose has very little story to tell...at the age of four and a half months, on March 24, 1874, she passed away. No records have been found to clarify her cause of death- just a date of birth and death to show that she was here at all.
