These photos of the younger two Edmiston children were taken in Ballarat, Victoria, in 1870. The girl is Bertha Blanche, who was 5 years and 8 months old at the time the photograph was taken. The other child is her only brother, Leonard Edmiston, who was aged 3 years and 5 months. The date on the back of the second photo is October 17, 1870.
